GREENWOOD

Omer E. Bradley, 100, of Greenwood, passed away Friday, Dec. 21, 2012.

He was born Jan. 30, 1912, in Marshall, Ill., to the late William Albert and Josie Bennett Bradley. He married Catherine Hedges on Feb. 19, 1937, in Indianapolis; and she preceded him in death March 10, 1999.

He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II, serving in the Pacific, and was a member of Centre Masonic Lodge No. 23 F&AM, American Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars.

Survivors include nieces and nephews, Charlene (Gene) Thompson, Shelby Bradley Wais, Byron, Wayne and Warren Bradley, Margaret (Ed) Dermond, Russel (Gay) Duvall, Terry (Howard) Armstrong, Shirley (Herbert) Trotter and Charles (Kari) Lytle; and 57 great-, great-great and great-great-great-nieces and -nephews.

He also was preceded in death by a sister, Grace Bradley Humes; three brothers, Herbert, Clyde and H. Dean Bradley; and three nieces, Neva Elaine Humes Bultman, Judith Ann A. Bradley and Sandra Hedges Conner.

Services will be conducted at 7 p.m. Friday at Singleton Community Mortuary and Memorial Center, 7602 Madison Ave., Indianapolis. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until service time Friday at the mortuary. A Masonic fraternal service will be at 6:45 p.m. Friday at the mortuary. Entombment will be at 10 a.m Saturday at Washington Park East Cemetery in Indianapolis.
