Mary Lee Binnie, 76, of Greenwood, passed away Dec. 25, 2012.
The daughter of Edmund J. and Adelia M. Gognat Speth, Mary Lee was born Sept. 8, 1936, in Vincennes. After graduating from St. Rose Academy in Vincennes, she graduated from Indiana Business College. She worked in accounting with Herron & Associates and later owned and operated Mary Binnie Tax Preparation.
Mary Lee was a member of Our Lady of the Greenwood Catholic Church and served on the Board of Directors of Indiana Shaklee Association.
Mary Lee is survived by her husband, Larry J. Binnie; a son, Steven N. (Sally) Binnie; three daughters, Carole J. Binnie, Joyce A. (Greg) Buczek and Susan M. Binnie; and three granddaughters, Ami Buczek and Stephanie and Samantha Binnie.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Monday at Our Lady of the Greenwood Catholic Church, 345 S. Meridian St. Friends may call from 3 to 7 p.m. Sunday at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 1977 S. State Road 135, Greenwood, and from 10:30 a.m. until service time Monday at church. Burial will be at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens in Greenwood.
