Shelly M. Wilkinson Ham, 38, of Mooresville, was surrounded by her family and best friends when she went to be with the Lord on Thursday, Dec. 13, 2012.
Shelly was born to Jerry M. Wilkinson and Carolyn A. (Reed) Walker on Aug. 1, 1974, in Beech Grove. She graduated from Whiteland Community High School in 1994.
Shelly was married to Robert H. Ham.
She was a certified nursing assistant for Franciscan St. Francis Health-Beech Grove. She also worked in medical billing for Hendricks Physician Billing.
She was an active member of Grace Church in Mooresville.
Shelly had lived in Mooresville since 2001, but she lived most of her life in New Whiteland.
Shelly is survived by her husband, Robert H. Ham of Mooresville; her parents, Jerry and Mary Sue Wilkinson of Plainfield and Carolyn and Brian Walker of Mooresville; stepgrandparents, Jim and Jane Walker of Kokomo; four children, Daniel “DJ” Vest, and Rachel, Shelby and Reed Ham, all of Mooresville; a sister, Rhonda (Giovanni) Wilkinson Quintia of Indianapolis; two brothers, Darrin Wilkinson of Indianapolis and Travis Knight of Mooresville; two nieces, Jenna Lewis and Madison Quintia; two nephews, Garrett Quintia and Nalon Knight; and honorary sister, Jenny (Binninger) Neff.
Calling hours for Shelly will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Tuesday and 2 to 3 p.m. Wednesday at Jones Crossing Banquet Center in Mooresville, 4161 E. Allison Road, Camby, next door to Jones Family Mortuary. There will be a celebration of life service at 3 p.m. Wednesday at Jones Crossing Banquet Center, with sharing time to follow service. Shelly will be laid to rest at Mooresville Cemetery at a later date.
