Deborah Lynne Jones, 62, of Greenwood, passed away Saturday, Dec. 8, 2012, at Community Hospital South in Indianapolis.
She was born Nov. 27, 1950, in Dillsboro, to Chester Miller and Ardell (Cleeter) Miller Sintz. She married Leonard Jones on Nov. 6, 1971, in Olean; and he survives.
She had been a secretary and agent for Sintz and Associates in Greenwood. She had also been a nail technician for Country Sun Salon in Greenwood.
Survivors include her husband, Leonard Jones of Greenwood; a son, Jason (Erin Johnson) Jones of Greenwood; her mother, Ardell L. (Cleeter) Sintz of Greenwood; and her dog, Scuby.
She was preceded in death by her father, Chester Miller; and her stepfather, Harold Sintz.
Services will be private.
Swartz Family Church and Chapel-Funeral and Cremation Services in Greenwood is handling arrangements.
The family requests memorial contributions be made to the donor’s Humane Society of choice.
