Michael J. Sullivan, 42, of Franklin passed away Sunday, Dec. 9, 2012.
He was born Jan. 12, 1970, at Johnson Memorial Hospital in Franklin to Charles W. and Geraldine F. (Boger) Sullivan. He married Amy Allison (Robey) Sullivan on May 19, 1996, at First Christian Church in Bargersville. She survives.
He was a 1988 graduate of Franklin Community High School and a 1992 graduate of Purdue University, where he received his chemical engineering degree.
He was a member of First Christian Church in Bargersville and a life member of the National Muzzle Loading Rifle Association, headquartered in Friendship.
He was an engineer for Ingredion, formerly National Starch and Chemical Co., in Indianapolis for 20 years.
Survivors include his wife, Amy Allison (Robey) Sullivan of Franklin; his parents, Charles W. and Geraldine F. (Boger) Sullivan of Morgantown; a sister, Tiffany S. (Christopher J.) Sullivan-Owens of Carlsbad, N.M.; two nieces, Elizabeth Shannon Owens and Carson James; two nephews, Eli James and Owen James; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Roger and Gayle Robey of Greenwood; and a sister-in-law, Ainsley Elizabeth (David R.) James of Indianapolis.
Visitation will be from 2 to 6 p.m. Thursday at Swartz Family Community Mortuary and Memorial Center, 300 S. Morton St. (U.S. 31 South) in Franklin. A private family graveside service will be at Greenlawn Cemetery in Franklin.
