Beulah M. Voyles, 91, of Morgantown passed from this life Friday, Dec. 7, 2012, at 9:20 p.m. at the Brown County Health & Living Center in Nashville.
She was born Dec. 9, 1920, in Morgantown to the late Harry H. and Della (Everling) Coffman. Beulah lived her entire life in Morgantown, graduating from high school there with the class of 1938 and holding a longtime membership with the Morgantown Baptist Church.
Beulah married Thomas E. Voyles on Aug. 9, 1939, and he preceded her in death Aug. 17, 1995.
She was a dedicated and proud wife, mother and grandmother. She adored her family and cherished time spent with them. She also enjoyed traveling, reading, working puzzles, bird watching and her cat, Little Girl.
She is survived by her loving family, including one son, Thomas E. Voyles, Jr. of Morgantown; two daughters, Joyce E. (husband, Clyde) Pettit of Morgantown and Rebecca A. (husband, Jeff) Taylor of Hamilton, Ohio; and four grandsons, Scott D. and Christopher Pettit and Colton T. and Thomas E. Voyles, III.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Thomas E. Voyles; one grandson, Clinton Voyles; and two brothers, Sebert and Kelly Coffman.
Family and friends are invited to a graveside service celebrating Beulah’s life at 1 p.m. Tuesday in East Hill Cemetery in Morgantown. There will be no visitation.
