John David Hancock, 53, died Wednesday, Dec. 5, 2012. He was a resident of Greenwood.
He is survived by his wife, Kathy (Hammer) Hancock; a son, Benjamin D. Hancock; two sisters, JoAnn (Duane) Smith and Sue (Don) McKee; and a brother, Steven Hancock.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Nonnie and Nola (Bertram) Hancock.
Services will be 11 a.m. Monday at Northern Park Baptist, 598 N. Meridian St., Greenwood. Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Wilson St. Pierre Funeral Service and Crematory, Greenwood Chapel, 481 W. Main St., and from 10 a.m. until service time Monday at the church. Burial will be at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens in Greenwood.
