Donald E. Seidle, 86, of Greenwood, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 4, 2012, in Muncie.
He was born March 27, 1926, in Bedford, to the late Walter and Dorothy (McDonald) Seidle. He was a 1944 graduate of Oolitic High School and a veteran of the U.S. Navy.
He married Mary Rose King on April 7, 1944, in Bedford; she preceded him in death.
Donald worked as a general superintendent for the Stark–Wetzel Plant for more than 30 years and, with his wife, operated The Frame Connection on the southside for more than 20 years.
He attended Emanuel and Gracepoint churches and was a member of Clinton Lodge 54 F&AM in Frankfort for 50 years.
He is survived by three sons, Michael (Bonnie) Seidle, Christopher (Pamela) Seidle and Scott (Joyce) Seidle; three brothers, Jerry, Rudy and David Seidle; two sisters, Loretta Spears and Norma Jean Farrell; seven grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
Also preceding him in death was a brother, Lloyd Seidle.
A Masonic funeral rite will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Friday at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 1977 S. State Road 135, Greenwood, with the funeral service to follow at 3 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Friends may call from noon until time of service Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens in Greenwood.
