He is survived by his wife, Jo L. Wilkinson; his daughter, Elizabeth Eckerman; and his stepson, Robert Patrick.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Lee (Stratton) Eckerman.
A memorial service will be conducted at noon Saturday at Wilson St. Pierre Funeral Service & Crematory, Greenwood Chapel, 481 W. Main St., Greenwood.
