Helen Jean Bennett, 78, passed away Monday, Nov. 19, 2012, at Johnson Memorial Hospital in Franklin. She was a resident of Franklin.
Helen was born Aug. 17, 1934, in Hamilton County, the daughter of the late Alvin and Lola (Miller) Glover.
She married Paul Bennett on May 9, 1953. He lovingly survives in Franklin.
Other survivors include three sons, Kenneth Wayne (Diane) Bennett of Fishers, and Paul Randall “Randy” Bennett and Mark Douglas Bennett, both of Franklin; two grandsons, Jon Bennett and Tom Bennett; and one sister, Phyllis (Bill) Russell of Columbus.
She was preceded in passing by her parents, one brother and two sisters.
Helen attended school in Russell County, Ky.
She was employed at Johnson Memorial Hospital in obstetrics for 41 years, retiring in 1998.
Helen was a member of Whiteland Missionary Baptist Church.
A service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday at Flinn & Maguire Funeral Home, 2898 N. Morton St. (U.S. 31 North) in Franklin. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Greenlawn Cemetery in Franklin.
