Leda M. Stubblefield, 85, of Edinburgh, died Thursday, Oct. 25, 2012, at her residence.
She was born May 21, 1927, in Trafalgar to the late Melvin Miller and Ethel (Long) Miller Daugherty. She was a graduate of Edinburgh High School. She married Clarence Stubblefield on July 20, 1947. He died June 16, 2003.
Survivors include four children, Daryl Stubblefield of Dallas, Kevin (Kathy) Stubblefield and Wayne (Julie) Stubblefield, both of Edinburgh, and Cheryl (Wallace) Milfs of Indianapolis; eight grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, Gary Dean Stubblefield; and two brothers, Lawrence and Ivan Miller.
She was a member of the New Life Baptist Church in Franklin.
She was a homemaker and enjoyed making crafts, traveling, cooking and gardening. She was an avid sports fan, especially of Indiana University basketball.
A funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Eskew-Eaton Funeral Home, 302 E. Main Cross St., Edinburgh, with the Rev. Rick Henry officiating. Visitation will be from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Rest Haven Cemetery in Edinburgh.
