Edna L. Durbin Haymaker, 92, passed away Monday evening, Oct. 22, 2012, in Franklin. She was a resident of Franklin.
Edna was born Oct. 9, 1920, in Indianapolis, the daughter of Herman and Grace (Watler) Rugenstein. She married Henry Lewis Haymaker on May 1, 1971. Henry preceded her in passing on Sept. 18, 2011.
She is survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in passing by her parents; three brothers; two sons, Wayne R. Durbin and Nicholas L. Durbin; and her husband, Henry.
Edna was a medical secretary and nurse for Dr. Robert C. Bullers in Franklin for 20 years, retiring in 1981. She also was a seamstress.
She was a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Franklin and the Franklin Active Adult Center.
A service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday at Flinn & Maguire Funeral Home, 2898 N. Morton St. (U.S. 31 North) in Franklin. Friends may call from 11 a.m. until service time Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be at First Mount Pleasant Cemetery near Franklin.
