Edward T. Cotton, 78, died Thursday, Oct. 18, 2012, at his residence in Franklin.
Survivors include his wife, Cathlene J. (Naes) Cotton of Franklin; a son, Jeff (Tina) Cotton of Anderson, S.C.; three daughters, Terry (Steve) Leyerle of Oak Lawn, Ill., Jamie (Jesse) Percifield of Greenwood and Julie (Chris) Reeder of Vero Beach, Fla.; a brother, Ronald (Pat) Cotton of Peoria, Ill.; and five grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward T. Cotton Sr. and Mary (Lockwood) Cotton.
A service will be conducted at 2 p.m. (CDT) Friday at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in St. Louis, with full military honors.
Swartz Family Community Mortuary and Memorial Center in Franklin is handling arrangements.
