Sharon Rae Canary, 67, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, Oct. 18, 2012. She was a resident of Bargersville.
She was born March 13, 1945, in Urbana, Ill., the daughter of Raymond P. Conley and Garnet (Fultz) Conley.
She married William E. Canary on March 22, 1967, in Danville, Ill. He lovingly survives in Bargersville.
Other survivors include a son, William B. “Brad” Canary, and a daughter, Michelle Lynn Deppe, both of Bargersville.
She was known as GiGi to her two granddaughters, Paige M. and Kaylin M. Deppe.
She also is survived by a sister, Linda Kunkle of Perrysville; and a brother, Carroll Eugene Conley of Paulding, Ohio. She also will be fondly remembered by aunts and an uncle, and several nieces and nephews.
Sharon was preceded in passing by her parents.
She was a graduate of Oakwood Township in Fithian, Ill.
Sharon was employed by Mutual Savings Bank, retiring after many years of service.
A service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday at Flinn & Maguire Funeral Home, 2898 N. Morton St. (U.S. 31 North) in Franklin. Friends may call from 11 a.m. until service time Monday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Greenlawn Cemetery in Franklin.
