Lindsay Brester and Nick Burks were married Oct. 15 at Brown County State Park in Nashville.
The bride is the daughter of Mark and Kim Brester of Franklin.
The groom is the son of Maria Burks of Campbellsburg and Rick Burks of Bloomington.
Abby Umphress was the matron of honor. Courtney Deem was the maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Alisha Slaughter, Kari Kermode, Abby Yaden and Chelsea Brester. The flower girl was Kearsley Kermode.
Andrew Burks and Patrick Burks were the best men. Groomsmen were Paul Galbraith, David Heidorn, Michael Bennett and Connor Brester. Ushers were Steve Kermode, Mike Lapota and Brett Waller.
The bride graduated from Franklin Community High School in 2007 and from Franklin College in 2011. She works for the college and career counseling initiative at the Indiana Youth Institute.
The groom graduated from West Washington High School in 2005 and from Franklin College in 2009. He works as a life skills specialist at Cummins Behavioral Health.
The couple live in Indianapolis.
