Christopher Van Roo and Mandy Arvin were married by Deacon Kerry Blandford on April 29 at St. Mark the Evangelist Catholic Church in Indianapolis, with a reception at the Crowne Plaza at Union Station in downtown Indianapolis.

The bride is the daughter of James and Pamela Arvin of Trafalgar.

The groom is the son of James and Sharon Van Roo of Holland, Mich.

Ashley Recker and Dana Dye were matrons of honor. Jennifer Rowlett, Christina Toler and Cori Arkins were bridesmaids.

Ryan Mangus was best man. Ben Skubal, cousin of the groom, Paul Cook, Sean Toler and Adam Arkins were groomsmen. Ushers were Chad Arvin, brother of the bride, and Megan Ulery, sister of the groom.

She is a dental hygienist at Trafalgar Family Dentistry and clinical dental hygiene instructor at Indiana University School of Dentistry.

He is a sergeant in the U.S. Army and works as a readiness NCO and flight medic for the Indiana National Guard. He also works part time as a firefighter and paramedic for the city of Greenwood.

The couple live in Bargersville.
