John and Martha Mahoney of Greenwood announce the engagement of their daughter, Elizabeth Mahoney of Greenwood, to Matthew Heil of Ashley, N.D., son of Shirley Heil and the late DeWayne Heil of Ashley, N.D.
Miss Mahoney graduated from Greenwood Community High School in 2005 and from Franklin College in 2009. She is a substitute teacher in Ohio.
The groom graduated from Ashley (N.D.) High School in 2003 and from North Dakota State University in 2008. He is an acquisitions specialist in the U.S. Air Force.
The wedding is set for Aug. 18 in Greenwood.
