Mike and Laura Lee Wetzel of Greenwood announce the engagement of their daughter, Heidi Wetzel of Greenwood, to David Hargis of Murfreesboro, Tenn., son of Barbara Hargis, also of Murfreesboro, and the late William James Hargis.
Miss Wetzel graduated from Greenwood Community High School in 2003 and from Indiana University in 2008. She works as a financial adviser.
The future groom graduated from Blackman High School in 2003, from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology in 2007 with a degree in computer engineering and also from Rose-Hulman in 2010 with a graduate degree in electrical engineering.
He works as an operations engineer at PP&L.
The wedding will be March 17 in Murfreesboro.
