Michael and Cheryl Taylor of Martinsville announce the engagement of their daughter, McKenzie Taylor of Franklin, to William Newby of Franklin, son of Brenda Garland of Flat Rock and William Newby of Columbus.
Miss Taylor graduated from Mooresville High School in 1997 and from Everest University in 2011. She works at Indiana University Health Morgan Hospital.
The future groom graduated from Columbus East High School in 1988. He works at Yard Barbours.
The wedding is set for Sept. 29.
