Larry and Gloria (Elstrod) Adams of Franklin announce the engagement of their daughter, Amanda Adams of Arlington, Va., to Leif Carlson of Arlington, Va., son of David and Kathy Carlson of Franklin.
Miss Adams graduated from Edinburgh Community High School in 2000 and from Taylor University in 2004. She works at TRAK Services in Washington, D.C.
The future groom graduated from Franklin Community High School in 1995, from Concordia College in Moorhead, Minn., in 1999 and from Earlham School of Religion in Richmond in 2005. He works at the Order of Malta Federal Association in Washington, D.C.
The wedding is set for July 29 at Chesapeake Bay Beach Club in Stevensville, Md.
