Larry and Diane Harris of Franklin announce the engagement of their daughter, Lauren Harris of Franklin, to Jared Black of Seymour, son of Mike and Karen Black of Osgood.
Miss Harris graduated from Franklin Community High School in 2002 and attends Ivy Tech Community College. She is employed at Johnson Memorial Hospital in the radiology department.
The future groom graduated from Jac-Cen-Del Junior-Senior High School in 2000 and attended IUPUI. He is employed with the Indiana State Police.
The wedding is set for 4:30 p.m. Oct. 22 at Community Church of Columbus.
