Dennis and Nicki Brewer announce the engagement of their daughter, Melanie N. Wilson, all of Whiteland, to Joshua R. Ferris of Whiteland, son of George Ferris of Decatur, Ill., and the late DeDee Ferris.
Miss Wilson graduated from Whiteland Community High School in 1997 and A Cut Above Beauty College in 2006. She is a self-employed nail technician.
The future groom graduated from Eisenhower High School in Decatur, Ill., in 1997. He is employed at Caterpillar in Greenwood.
The wedding is set for 5:30 p.m. May 12 at Province Park Rose Garden in Franklin.
