Bryan E. and Lori L. Thorne of Greenwood announce the engagement of their daughter, Kendyl L. Thorne of Greenwood, to J. Esteban Velez of Indianapolis, son of Dr. Luz-Elena Valencia of Indianapolis.
Miss Thorne graduated from Roncalli High School in 2007 and the University of Indianapolis in 2011. She is employed at Franciscan St. Francis Health as a registered nurse.
The future groom graduated from Roncalli High School in 2007 and Indiana University in 2011 and currently attends Indiana University School of Dentistry.
The wedding is set for 2:30 p.m. Oct. 15 at St. Mary Catholic Church in Indianapolis.
