Johannah Hastings Pollert of Greenwood, daughter of Roland and Virginia Pollert of Franklin, and Kevin Richard Weber of Needham, son of Rheba Weber of Seymour and the late Dennis Weber, announce their engagement.
Miss Pollert graduated from Franklin Community High School in 1985 and Hanover College in 1989 and is working toward a master’s degree at Ball State University. She is employed at The (Columbus) Republic as assistant managing editor.
The future groom graduated from Seymour Community High School in 1980, is a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps and a 1984 graduate of DeVry Institute of Technology. He is employed at Raytheon as senior principle engineer.
The wedding is set for Sept. 24 at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Franklin.
