Mark and Kim Brester announce the engagement of their daughter, Lindsay Brester, all of Franklin, to Nick Burks of Indianapolis, son of Rick Burks of Bloomington and Maria Burks of Campbellsburg.
Miss Brester graduated from Franklin Community High School in 2007 and Franklin College in 2011. She is a college and career counselor for Americorps VISTA at Indiana Youth Institute.
The future groom graduated from West Washington High School in 2005 and Franklin College in 2009. He is a life skills specialist at Cummins Behavioral Health in Lebanon.
The wedding is set for 4:30 p.m. Oct. 15 at Abe Martin Lodge amphitheater at Brown County State Park.
