Teresa McGowan and Terry Bruton of Franklin announce the engagement of their daughter, Amber McGowan of Indianapolis, to Ken Richardson of Indianapolis, son of Gary and Susan Richardson of Round Rock, Texas, and Barbara Bernhard and Rob Mulberry of Westfield.
Miss McGowan graduated from Franklin Community High School in 2002, from Franklin College in 2006 and from Indiana University in 2011 with a master’s degree in public relations management. She is employed by the federal government as a program analyst.
The future groom graduated from Lawrence Central High School and Ball State University. He is employed with the Indiana Department of Education as a systems administrator.
The wedding is set for Sept. 2 in Indianapolis.
