Ruben and Brenda Chipman announce the engagement of their daughter, Katlin Christina Chipman of Bargersville, to Robert Austin Smithey of Bargersville, son of Robert and Sherri Smithey.
Miss Chipman graduated from Franklin Community High School in 2009 and is a student at Ivy Tech Community College.
The future groom graduated from Franklin Community High School in 2009. He is employed at Endress+Hauser as a welder.
The wedding is set for noon Sept. 3 at the Indianapolis Zoo.
