Robert and Angie Parks of Greenwood announce the engagement of their daughter, Nikki Parks of Indianapolis, to Alexander Venne of Indianapolis, son of Michael and Marcia Venne of Greenwood.
Miss Parks graduated from Center Grove High School in 2006 and from Valparaiso University in 2010.
The future groom graduated from Greenwood Community High School in 2005. He works for the Greenwood and New Whiteland fire departments.
The wedding is set for Oct. 13 at Treasure Island Wedding Chapel in Las Vegas.
