Mike and Kim Demaree of Franklin announce the engagement of their daughter, Stephanie Runyon of Franklin, to Mark Thompson of Franklin, son of John Thompson of Franklin and Jill and Allen Whitehurst of Franklin.
Miss Runyon graduated from Franklin Community High School in 2000 and from IUPUC in 2007. She works at Holiday Inn Express and Suites in Edinburgh.
The future groom graduated from Franklin Community High School in 2004. He works for Contract Callers Inc. in Franklin.
The wedding is set for Sept. 21 at Valle Vista in Greenwood.
