Jim and Bev Pence of Hope announce the engagement of their daughter, Amy Pence of Hope, to Kyle Shipp of Whiteland, son of Tim Shipp of Camby and Brenda Tearney of Indianapolis.
Miss Pence graduated from Hauser High School in 2002 and from Anderson University in 2006. She is employed at Major Hospital in Shelbyville as an athletic trainer.
The future groom graduated from Whiteland Community High School in 1999 and from IUPUI in 2005. He works for Clark-Pleasant Community School Corp. as a teacher and girls varsity basketball coach.
The wedding is set for Aug. 11 at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Columbus.
