Millie Hobson of Norman and James Monroe of Greenfield announce the engagement of their daughter, Linda Monroe of Franklin, to Tomas Murillo Romo Jr. of Franklin, son of Tomas Murillo Sr. of Texas and Maria Guadalupe Romo of Mexico.
Miss Monroe graduated in 2001 from Columbus North High School. She works at Cummins FSP in Columbus.
The future groom graduated from University of Texas-El Paso. He works at Cummins FSP.
The wedding is set for Sept. 29, 2013.
