Mr. and Mrs. John Walker of Morgantown will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with an open house from 2 to 5 p.m. May 12 at the Morgantown Community Building (Morgantown Senior Center), hosted by their children. Friends are welcome to attend.
Mr. Walker and his wife, the former Donna Miers, were married May 13, 1962, at Morgantown Baptist Church.
He retired from the Morgantown post office as a rural postal carrier.
She is broker/owner of Chief Realty in Morgantown.
The couple have one child, John Wayne (Stephanie) Walker of Trafalgar; one grandson; three stepgrandchildren; and one great-stepgrandson.
