Mr. and Mrs. Chuck Parmenter of Greenwood celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary Dec. 26 with a family dinner celebration given by their children.
Mr. Parmenter and his wife, the former Sharon Martin, were married Jan. 2, 1962, in Pontiac, Mich.
He retired from Allison Transmission Division of General Motors.
She retired from AT&T.
The couple have four children, Mark Parmenter, Geoff Parmenter, Renee Crull and Heather Wilson; 11 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
