Mr. and Mrs. Sam Young will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with a family celebration dinner.
Mr. Young and his wife, the former Judith Rush, were married Dec. 24, 1961, at Evangelical United Brethren Church in Lebanon.
He is an ordained minister of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) and is serving North Christian Church in Fort Wayne.
She is retired form the Huntington Bureau of Motor Vehicles and is a Mary Kay consultant.
They have four children, Cheryl (Kevin) Brandt of Logansport, Lynn (Lamar) Fogle of Anderson, Charles Eric (Samantha) Young of Wheaton, Ill., and Damon (Virginia Young of Greendale, Wis.; and seven grandchildren.
