Mr. and Mrs. Mike Gallagher of Leland, N.C., will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary by hosting a golden celebration in Leland for friends and family Dec. 30.
U.S. Army Lt. Col. Gallagher (Ret.) and his wife, the former Ann Wardein, were married Dec. 30, 1961, in Alton, Ill.
He is originally from Franklin.
She is a legal assistant.
They have two children, Erin (Jon) Gallagher Maury of London, England, and Patrick (Stefanie) Gallagher of Chester, Va.; and four grandchildren.
