Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Acker of Greenwood celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary Nov. 18 with family and friends at Valle Vista Country Club.
Mr. Acker and his wife, the former Ruth Ann Risch, were married Nov. 25, 1961, by the Rev. Paul English at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Franklin.
They have one daughter, Mary Monfreda of Acton; two sons, Joseph Acker Jr. of Portland and Steven Acker of Amity; eight grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
