Sharron Lee Walker and Chloe Evelyn Walker of Franklin celebrated their 61st wedding anniversary Friday.
Mr. Walker and his wife, the former Chloe Beavers, were married July 29, 1950, at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Medora.
He is a retired contract certified technician in aerospace and retired from the U.S. Naval Reserve after 20 years.
She retired from the Indiana University Hospital in Indianapolis.
They have three children, David Walker of Seattle, Sheila McGregor of Fishers and Eric Walker of Indianapolis; four grandchildren; and a great-granddaughter.
