The Rev. James and Martha Hertel of Greenwood celebrated their 74th wedding anniversary Sunday.
The Rev. Hertel and his wife, the former Martha Hine, were married June 5, 1937, in Lebanon.
He retired after 65 years in the ministry.
She is a retired nurse.
They have two children, Marti Eicholz of San Diego and the Rev. J. Wesley Hertel of Greenwood; seven grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.
