Mr. and Mrs. James Dykes of Greenwood will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with a night out with family and friends.
Mr. Dykes and his wife, the former Emma G. “Jerri” Taylor, were married Sept. 15, 1962, in Livingston, Tenn.
Both attended Southport High School.
He is retired from Sysco Corp.
She is a homemaker and former child care business owner and is retired as well.
The couple have two children, Tony Dykes of Indianapolis and Tonia Lewis of Greenwood; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
