Mr. and Mrs. Richard A. Weddle will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with an open house hosted by their children and grandchildren at 12:30 p.m. Sunday at their home, 10675 S. County Road 500E, Elizabethtown.
Mr. Weddle and his wife, the former Henrietta Williams, were married Aug. 26, 1962, at Providence Christian Church near Bargersville.
He is retired from Rockwell Automation.
She is retired from Bartholomew County Area Agency on Aging.
The couple have two children, David E. Weddle of Elizabethtown and Brenda M. Pollert of Columbus; and two grandchildren.
