Mr. and Mrs. Richard Garris of Greenwood celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a cruise with their children and grandchildren.
Mr. Garris and his wife, the former Lois Dow, were married Aug. 24, 1962, at First Baptist Church in Martinsville.
He is retired from Navistar.
She is retired from Rolls-Royce.
The couple have three children, Kirk Garris of Valrico, Fla., Kris Moenkhaus of Greenwood and Keith Garris of Tallahassee, Fla.; and eight grandchildren.
