Mr. and Mrs. Leroy Cooper of Franklin are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary with a family dinner with family and friends hosted by their children.
Mr. Cooper and his wife, the former Judy Asher, were married July 20, 1962, at Second Mount Pleasant Baptist Church in Franklin.
He is retired from International Harvester.
She is retired from Johnson County government.
The couple have two children, Amy (Bill) Barger and Jeff Cooper, both of Franklin; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
