Mr. and Mrs. Ray Thomas of Edinburgh will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary with a family get-together July 7 at the Edinburgh Parks and Recreation Community Room.
Mr. Thomas and his wife, the former Margie West, were married July 2, 1952, in Tazwell, Tenn.
He is a retired welder.
She is a homemaker.
The couple have six children, June Gaskin, Wanda Evans, Gail Thomas, Billy Thomas, Barbara Rooks and Jimmy Thomas; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
