Mr. and Mrs. Ken Backmeyer of Greenwood celebrated their 50th anniversary by attending a performance at the Palladium in Carmel and dining at Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse.
Mr. Backmeyer and his wife, the former Jan Bass, were married May 5, 1962, in Indianapolis.
He is retired.
She works as an administrative assistant for Simon Property Group.
The couple have one daughter, Angela Cruz; and one grandchild.
