Garden market to feature vendors in lovely setting
This weekend, local shoppers can help support some of the area’s most eclectic small businesses, all while taking in the beauty of rural Franklin.
Whimsy & Blooms will bring together more than 50 artisans and vendors to the pastoral grounds of Pleasant View Farm, 5301 E. CR 200 N., Franklin. The event, organized by Vintage Whimsy, is scheduled from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday.
People will be able to find everything from primitives to goat milk products to fresh flowers at the vendor booths. Booths stocked with upcycled furniture, multi-media artwork and vintage home decor should keep shoppers busy for hours as they browse.
Live entertainment is planned throughout the day, with CPR Revival performing from 9 a.m. to noon, McKenna Hall on stage from noon to 1 p.m., and the RoundUps playing from 1 to 4 p.m. Food vendors will include Donut Barn, The NY Slice, Scoops & Treasures and Chomp’z.
Admission to the event is $5 for adults, with children 12 and under free.
