A Silver Alert was issued Monday for a missing Greenwood teenager.
Greenwood police are searching for Alyssa Pickett, 16, who police said late Monday afternoon had not been seen since Monday morning.
Pickett was last seen at 8 a.m. Monday at her home on the 800 block of Bough Street in Greenwood, according to Greenwood Police Department news release.
She is a white female with shoulder-length brown hair and brown eyes. She is 5’7 and weighs 180 pounds. She was last seen wearing gray sweatpants and a gray hooded sweatshirt that had the word “Levis” written on it in red and white polka dots, according to the news release.
Pickett is believed to be in extreme danger and may require medical assistance. She may be headed to Alabama to attend a music festival, the news release said.
