Boys basketball

Woodmen edge Dragons

Greenwood held off a late charge to close the regular season with a 63-58 win at New Palestine on Friday. Carter Campbell led a balanced attack with 15 points for the Woodmen (16-5), followed by Brock Kincaid with 14, Noah Apgar with 10 and Rasheed Elemikan with nine.

Royals fall short

Roncalli was edged by Brebeuf, 50-48. Anthony Donahue led the Royals (8-13) with 16 points, while Carson Lyngh chipped in 12.

Franklin College

Volleyball falls in HCAC semi

Franklin College was ushered out of the HCAC tournament with a 25-17, 25-22, 25-23 semifinal loss at Mount St. Joseph on Friday evening. The Grizzlies (10-6) were led by nine kills from Chloe Holder and seven each from Kyndall Boyll and Taylor Tatlock. Boyll and Allison Thompson pulled up 15 digs apiece and Sofia Helton had 25 assists.
