Morton St., Franklin Police Department: A woman reported at 3:58 p.m. Monday that she received a phone call from a man claiming to be from Amazon and after he gained remote access to her home computer, cell phone, had her purchase gift cards and give him the numbers, she realized it was a scam.

360 block of Wiley St.: A man reported at 10:58 a.m. Monday that someone entered his house and took prescription bottles, a checkbook and over $400 in cash.

1133 N. Emerson Ave., Walmart: Reported at 5:38 p.m. Monday that shoplifting had occurred.
482 Chaney Ave., Ulta: Reported at 5:12 p.m. Monday that a theft had occurred.
377 Westridge Blvd., Greenwood Healthcare Center: Reported at 9:42 a.m. Monday that a theft had occurred.
1791 Profit St., Rolands Truck Service: Reported at 8:44 a.m. Monday a theft had occurred.

830 block of Rustic Land, Whiteland: A woman reported at 1:06 p.m. Monday that she had been scammed on eBay for $6,800 on an item she had tried to purchase.
5900 block of County Road 400, Greenwood: A woman reported at 11:11 a.m. Monday that someone had made three fraudulent charges on her banking account.
Hit and Run
I-65 and mile marker 92.4, Franklin: Reported at 11:38 p.m. Monday that a hit and run had occurred.
Theft
4370 block of W. County Line Road, Greenwood: A man reported at 8:43 a.m. Monday that a friend stole his girlfriend’s vehicle.
