North-side home builder heads to Franklin
Builder, Old Town Design Group, will start building homes in the Franklin’s golf course community, Hillview. Grand opening is excepted in early Spring of next year and home sales are to begin within the next few weeks.
Old Town Design Group will be joining this development that will feature three sections; Homestead, Village Green and Windsor. Homes will be a mix of traditional, full custom homes in the Homestead and Windsor sections and semi-custom homes in Village Green.
New facility breaks ground in Franklin
Koening Equipment, a full-service John Deere agriculture, lawn, garden, and compact construction dealership will be relocating from its current location on Earlywood Drive to a new 25,000 square foot facility.
The new location will be at 1280 Sloan Drive off U.S. 31 and is slated to open in March of 2021.
Local bank announces new member
Mutual Savings Bank, announces Anne McGuinness as the new Vice President of Human Resources and Trust Services.
Anne joins Mutual Savings Bank after serving recently as the chief litigator for the Indiana State Department of Health.Â

New restaurant opens in Franklin
Culver’s officially opened on October 19. Culver’s is known for its ButterBurgers and creamy Fresh Frozen Custard.
The restaurant, located at 191 Granville Drive serves fast, casual food, cooked to order, meaning guests’ food is not made until after they order it.
The location is open from 10 a.m. to midnight expect from some holidays.
