Greenwood retirement community to receive new and innovative services
Cappella Living Solutions of Denver is now managing Demaree Crossing Assisted Living & Memory Care, 1255 Demaree Road, Greenwood. The new management team will work with the existing Demaree Crossing employees to help them continue to deliver personalized care to the community’s older adults.
Demaree opened in February 2018 to provide assisted living and memory care. The management transition takes place this month.
Local resident earns play therapy credential
Tondra Crum of Greenwood, a licensed mental health counselor, has earned the registered play therapist-supervisor credential presented by the Association for Play Therapy.
The Association for Play Therapy is a national professional society that works to advance play therapy to be an effective way licensed mental health professionals, school counselors and school psychologists better communicate with and help clients, especially children.
Indiana Paralegal Association selects members
Three Johnson County residents have been named officers or directors of the Indiana Paralegal Association.
The officers and directors will serve on the board of directors and volunteer their time for a one-year term.
The elected officers and directors for 2019-2020 are: President Lottie Wathen of Edinburgh, fundraising director Jodie Bergeron of Greenwood and monthly meeting director Ellen Wilkerson of Franklin.
